AI for diagnostics. Only through the use of AI in diagnostics are modern treatment methods such as personalized medicine possible on a large scale. EMPAIA therefore establishes, using the example of pathology, a platform for standardized, certified, and explainable AI solutions for image-based medical diagnostics. In addition to infrastructure for access to training data, a marketplace for AI applications for clinical practice will be created on the platform. Solutions for legal and billing challenges will also be developed.
