Edge Data Economy
With the technology program “Edge Data Economy” (Edge Datenwirtschaft), the BMWK supports research, development and innovation projects in the edge cloud continuum in which the benefits and advantages of edge computing solutions are demonstrated, particularly in economic and also ecological terms, in various application domains. The technology program is intended to help secure German and European digital sovereignty and strengthen Germany as a location for technology and innovation. The technology program will stimulate the balancing of edge and cloud data spaces as a basis for sovereign data exchange and use.
